Senior students from the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design at Izmir University of Economics (IUE) completed their educational journey with an unforgettable fashion show and exhibition. 

6 students from Izmir University of Economics (IUE), who made a significant impact by winning a remarkable six awards at the 20th National Packaging Design Student Competition, organized by the Packaging Industrialists Association, are preparing to embark on their careers after graduating this year. 

Success of Izmir University of Economics (IUE) graduates marked the 19th Aegean Exporters' Associations (EIB) Fashion Design Competition, organized this year by the Aegean Ready-to-Wear and Apparel Exporters' Association with the theme of ‘Global Nomad’.

Organized by the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, the “Urban Booth Design” and “Virtual Interior Spaces” workshops brought students together with contemporary design practices and technologies. Participants received their certificates at the closing session.

Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, Izmir Chamber of Commerce (IZTO), and Izmir University of Economics (IUE) introduced the mobile education bus named ‘Dobidob’, which they prepared to raise awareness of recycling among children, the architects of the future.

On Friday, May 16th, we would be happy to see you among us at the IFI World Interiors Day celebrations organized by IUE IAED department. We are ending the celebrations we organized during the 24-25 spring semester with various workshops, student-graduate meeting and cocktail.

Interior Architecture and Environmental Design Department hosted interior architect Erol Emre Oktar who led a workshop on seismic-safe interior design. Students developed prototypes addressing furniture anchoring, flexible layouts, and escape route planning. 

Students from the Departments of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design and Industrial Design at Izmir University of Economics visited the Antalya Free Zone shipyards on March 15–16 as part of the IA 302 studio course. During the trip, they toured the shipyard facilities, the Antalya Underwater Museum, and the Antalya Archaeological Museum. 

Balçova Municipality and Izmir University of Economics (IUE) have signed a cooperation protocol aimed at giving neighborhood houses a new identity, improving the marketing of the products produced there, and thus increasing women's income. 

Izmir University of Economics (IUE) Textile and Fashion Design Student Melek Nur Yüksel, student at Izmir University of Economics (IUE), Department of Textile and Fashion Design won third place in the Junioshow Baby and Children's Clothing Young Designers Competition with a special collection she designed for boys aged 3-4.
